Happy New Year!!!

Here at Doggie Zen Den, we take New Year's Resolutions very seriously! It's a time for a fresh start, and for that special determination to make our lives just a little bit better by making promises to ourselves to do something just a little bit better this year!

So, whether your resolution be to dress to the nines:

Or spend a little time relaxing in the sun:

Or just to have a lot more fun:

Chilly Dogs, Get Yer Chilly Dogs. =)

You know the old saying, "If you don't like the weather in Texas, wait 5 minutes" (well, I don't know if it's old, but it's a good saying *wink*) - Well, we've been waiting all day for a change and haven't gotten one! How in the world it can be 80 degrees one day and 32 the next I have no idea. But our little dogs have some ideas for keeping warm on such a cold day!

Dudley says, "Try snuggling in a cozy blanket on a comfy bed for warmth. Napping also conserves energy which can be converted to body heat" =)

Jasper seems to think playing ball is a good way to ward off the chill:

And Mr. William can't decide whether to take Dudley's advice or Jaspers.

But the sure fire way to feel warm and fuzzy on a cold winter's afternoon is to spend it with friends.

Complete with lots of games of chase of couse. *wink*

Week In Review =)

I've been a bad blogger this Christmas, and I'm waiting for a big lump of coal in my stocking! (Actually I've been on vacation and haven't updated, but still no excuse! *grin*)

It was a mighty fine day here at Doggie Zen Den!

In fact, the weather was absolutely beautiful for romping around:

And the wind still seems to be ruffling Murphy's hair. =)

I'm sure my cheesy jokes have made Circle roll with laughter!

Mondays back after a holiday weekend are always a blast as our pups come in ready to work off some of those extra turkey pounds! =) We were full of life and full of fun around here today!

Our kiddos are never "too cool for school" and always ready to make a splash!

Which of course water always seems to give everyone an extra energy boost. =)
