Doggie Zen Den is on the 'Net!

Hello, and Welcome from Doggie Zen Den! If you're a current client of our fantastic facility, we welcome you to our new "home" on the net as we try to find new ways to communicate to our guests the exciting happenings that go on here on a daily basis!! If you haven't visited us before, we welcome you to come on in and get to know us! We'd love to be a part of your pet's busy social calendar!

We are a full service daycare, boarding, grooming, training and retail boutique located in Plano, TX with quick and easy access to most all of the DFW suburbs! We are always striving to bring to our customers the very best in everything we have to offer! We hope you will enjoy reading about the antics and daily activites of our guests here!

As for new and improved, we've added a gourmet treat bar to the menu here at Doggie Zen Den, so certainly stop by and take a look at the goodies! Ingredients are labeled on top so that our pups with allergies can choose which cookies work best for them!

Variety is the spice of life, you know!

Also, coming in January we have new obedience classes starting up, and they're filling fast, so if you find your pup is in need of a few manners, would like to brush up on your skills, or even try a new dog sport or the Canine Good Citizen, please give us a call!

Starting the third week of January we will have:

Basic Obedience - 6 week class - Wednesdays at 7:00pm
AKC Canine Good Citizen Class - Wednesdays at 8:15pm
Intermediate Rally Obedience - Tuesdays at 7:00pm

Our trainer, Jamie, is looking forward to seeing everyone in class and is happy to answer any questions you may have about these and our other training options available!

Now on to what you're all waiting for....

THE DOGS!!!

Dylan and Zac would like you to know that they are not, in fact, dogs. They much prefer to be referred to as tiny people in furry suits.

Nothing like a water romp to bring out a good shake for Sampson! Cheetah looks a little less than appreciative for her unexpected shower.

Camden seems to think the water looks a bit chilly today...

But what true lab can resist!

It's a pool party!!! It was a beautiful day here at DZD and our guests here today took full advantage of the lovely weather by taking a dip in our water feature! We have some real beach dogs here today!

And of course, there's nothing like following a good refreshing swim with a nice romp in the grass for Daisy and Skylar!

We hope you enjoyed today's pictures! We'll be posting on an almost daily basis, so check back for more fun!

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2008

A fun-filled Friday for our numerous pups playing here at DZD today!!! The weather was fine and the fidos feeling frisky!

Of course, when meeting your friends first thing in the morning, why stop with a handshake when a play bow will do.

We had a few newcomers to the small dog group today! Pomeranian "Paris" says hello to "George" the Bichon. Do you suppose they said "Hello"? Or perhaps "Bonjour"?

Up for discussion between Koda and Dillon is who might be in possession of the coveted tug toy. Judge Judy...er....Zoe, waits on in the background. =)

We had another newcomer to our small dog group today! Mr. Levi (far right) is a poodle / chinese crested mix, and he is absolutely adorable and available for adoption through Protective Animal League. Go get yourself some cuteness to share your life today!

Daisy seems to be pondering the meaning of life.... or perhaps dreaming of snacks at lunch...

And we can't forget our water dogs!!

Alex is so happy the water feature is open he's jumping for joy!

How many labs does it take to fill a water feature? We'll let you guess!

Pardon Me? Go in the water with you? I don't THINK so.

Nose kisses from Burgess for a happy and fun-filled weekend for all. Until Monday!

Great work on pictures and notes. This is definitely Koda's favorite place in the world and if she could be there every day she would love it! Thanks so much for making it so great. I look forward to visiting your site daily.
